  • Central location: In direct proximity to the ducal town of St. Veit an der Glan and only approx. 20 minutes from Klagenfurt.

  • Public transport: The St. Veit an der Glan railway station (6 km away) offers ideal connections. Thanks to the ÖBB station shuttle (can be booked with ticket purchase), your participants reach our door stress-free and climate-friendly.

  • Free parking: Over 90 parking spaces are available to your participants free of charge directly at the Abbey. Additionally, 2 chargeable e-charging stations from KELAG are available.

  • 63 Swiss-pine rooms with garden or lake view

As facilities, 12 seminar rooms of various sizes with state-of-the-art equipment are at your disposal. The various rooms are suitable for 5 to 140 people. Every room meets the most modern technical requirements.

Our team takes care of the requirements for your event in advance and arranges the correct seating and technical equipment. In addition, our house technicians and caretakers are also available during your event.

We choose the optimally fitting room for you – matched to procedure, group size and goal of your event. Please note that the use of a seminar room without overnight stay must always be booked in combination with a seminar package (at least Meet & Go “XS”).

Our seminar packages offer a transparent cost structure and enable reliable planning of your event. The seminar breaks (except Meet & Go “XS”) take place in our Abbey Lounge or, on request, in the respective booked seminar room.

Enjoy lunch and dinner in the Abbey Restaurant – accompanied by seasonal, regional dishes from our Slow Kitchen. The savory and sweet snacks during coffee breaks come from our in-house Abbey Bakery. (Offering depending on the booked package.)

Do we get support in planning our seminar?

Yes, we accompany you personally from the first inquiry to the execution of your event. Together we clarify all details and create an individually tailored offer.

 

Can we customize content and procedure individually?

Our seminar packages offer a clearly structured framework with fixed times for catering and procedure. Within this framework, we are happy to tailor content and organizational details individually to your event.

 

Can we book a specific seminar room firmly?

The final room allocation is carried out by our events team and depends on the number of participants, procedure and availability. This way we ensure that you receive the optimally fitting room for your seminar.

 

How is catering organized during the seminar?

You enjoy lunch and dinner in our Abbey Restaurant with seasonal, regional dishes from our Slow Kitchen.

The seminar break snacks consist of savory and/or sweet delicacies from our in-house Abbey Bakery.

Additionally, we offer a selection of bookable services – such as tastings, topped Slow Kitchen rolls or individually tailored catering – to make your seminar culinarily even more personal.

 

Can accommodations be booked directly along with it?

We are happy to integrate the appropriate number of rooms directly into your seminar offer. For seminar participants and trainers, we offer attractive special conditions. Billing can be done through the organizer or also by the individual participants.

The seminar break snacks consist of savory and/or sweet delicacies from our in-house Abbey Bakery.

Additionally, we offer a selection of bookable services – such as tastings, topped Slow Kitchen rolls or individually tailored catering – to make your seminar culinarily even more personal.

 

How is arrival organized for participants?

Abbey St. Georgen is easy to reach and offers over 90 free parking spaces directly on site. Arrival by public transport is also uncomplicated via train to St. Veit an der Glan and then with the ÖBB transfer.

 

What happens if the number of participants changes?

Changes are flexibly possible depending on timing. We recommend early coordination so that we can optimally respond to your requirements.

We kindly ask you to communicate the final number of participants no later than one week before arrival.

30 to 7 days before the start of the event, a reduction of up to 10% of the number of participants is possible free of charge.

 

Are short meetings or half-day seminars possible too?

Yes, in addition to full-day seminars, we also offer compact formats such as half-day or short meetings – ideal for focused discussions.

 

How quickly do we receive an offer?
