  • Central location: In the immediate vicinity of the ducal town of St. Veit an der Glan and only approx. 20 minutes from Klagenfurt.

  • Public transport: St. Veit an der Glan train station (6 km away) offers ideal connections. Thanks to the ÖBB station shuttle (bookable when purchasing a ticket), your participants will arrive stress-free and in an environmentally friendly manner right at our doorstep.

  • Free parking: Over 90 parking spaces are available to your participants directly at the Abbey free of charge. In addition, 2 paid e-charging stations from KELAG are available.

  • 63 stone pine rooms with garden or lake views
  • Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the building.
  • Open continuously from mid-January to mid-December.

There are 12 seminar rooms of various sizes with state-of-the-art equipment available to you. The different rooms are suitable for 5 to 140 people. Each room meets the most modern technical requirements.

Our team takes care of the requirements for your event in advance and arranges the correct seating and technical equipment. In addition, our on-site technicians and caretakers are also available during your event.

Our seminar packages offer a transparent cost structure and enable reliable planning of your event. Seminar breaks (except for Meet & Go “XS”) take place in our Abbey Lounge or, upon request, in the respective booked seminar room.

Enjoy lunch and dinner in the Abbey Restaurant – accompanied by seasonal, regional dishes from our Slow Kitchen. The savory and sweet snacks during the coffee breaks come from our in-house Abbey Bakery. (Offer depending on the booked package).

Will we be supported in the planning of our seminar?

Yes, we accompany you personally from the first inquiry to the execution of your event. Together we clarify all details and create an individually tailored offer.

 

Can we customize the content and schedule?

Our seminar packages offer a clearly structured framework with fixed times for catering and schedule. Within this framework, we are happy to coordinate content and organizational details individually for your event.

 

Can we book a specific seminar room fixed?

The final room allocation is made by our events team and is based on the number of participants, schedule, and availability. This ensures that you receive the most suitable room for your seminar.

 

How is the catering organized during the seminar?

You can enjoy lunch and dinner in our Abbey Restaurant with seasonal, regional dishes from our Slow Kitchen.

The seminar break snacks consist of savory and/or sweet delicacies from our in-house Abbey Bakery.

In addition, we offer a selection of bookable services – such as tastings, Slow Kitchen sandwiches, or individually tailored catering – to make your seminar even more personal in terms of cuisine.

 

Can overnight stays be booked directly?

We are happy to integrate the appropriate number of rooms directly into your seminar offer. We offer attractive special conditions for seminar participants and trainers. Billing can be done via the organizer or also the individual participants.

The seminar break snacks consist of savory and/or sweet delicacies from our in-house Abbey Bakery.

In addition, we offer a selection of bookable services – such as tastings, Slow Kitchen sandwiches, or individually tailored catering – to make your seminar even more personal in terms of cuisine.

 

How is the arrival organized for participants?

Stift St. Georgen is easily accessible and offers over 90 free parking spaces directly on site. Arrival by public transport is also uncomplicated by train to St. Veit an der Glan and then with the ÖBB transfer.

 

What happens if the number of participants changes?

Changes are possible flexibly depending on the time. We recommend early coordination so that we can respond optimally to your requirements.

We ask you to announce the final number of participants at least one week before arrival.

A reduction of up to 10% of the number of participants is possible free of charge 30 to 7 days before the start of the event.

 

Are short meetings or half-day seminars also possible?

Yes, in addition to full-day seminars, we also offer compact formats such as half-day or short meetings – ideal for focused discussions.

 

How quickly will we receive an offer?
